As the years go by, people created by God became more and more evil. God saw the world and it is not what he wanted to be. So, God decided to end it all. The world need to start all over again.
God would send a great flood that will wash every bad thing away. Noah, who was a good, kind man together with his family will be intended to save by God.
God, gave Noah a very careful instructions and told him to prepare for the incoming great flood.
Noah was told to build a huge boat, called an ark.
Noah gathered two of every kind of animals in the world and let them in the ark and he filled the boat with enough food. God made sure that Noah and his family are safe by shutting the door tight and safe behind.
The rain began, at first the rain is soft, but it began to fall harder. Streams turned into rivers and rivers flowed into seas and the seas joined together until no land or mountain to be seen. All the people and animal remained drowned beneath the waves. The rain last for forty nights and forty days.
At last, the rain stopped and the water began to go down. Noah sent out a raven, but everything is still covered by water and the raven didn't return
After sending the raven, Noah waited a while, then he released a dove, but it came back because the water is still high. At the second try of releasing a dove, the dove came back with a new olive leaf in its beak. Noah knew that the water is coming down and the plant and trees are growing again. Then, Noah send another dove and didn't come back again.
The flood has completely gone. Noah opened the doors of the ark and let the animals out of the ark.
"Never again will I destroy all living things by a flood," God promised Noah. " Whenever you see a rainbow in the sky, think of my promise and be sure that i will keep it."
